Nutcracker Guardsman

This Nutcracker Guardsman is from the Nutcracker series. The nutcrackers are made by hand in the Seiffener Volkskunst e.G. show workshop using traditional and loving craftsmanship.The nutcracker guard soldier wears a striking and detailed uniform that emphasizes his military posture and position. On his head sits a striking spiked helmet, which is decorated with a gold emblem on the front. The spiked helmet is additionally decorated with a gold cord around the lower edge, and at the top of the hood there is a gold tip, which is typical for this type of helmet. Under the spiked helmet, gray, soft artificial hair is visible, which peeks out from the sides and frames the soldiers face.The nutcrackers face is equipped with a large and curved moustache that sits directly under the nose and dominates the face. The mouth is movable and shows a row of white teeth. The movable part of the mouth is also covered with soft gray synthetic hair, which visually combines with the hair under the spiked helmet.The guard soldiers uniform is kept in a deep blue and is elaborately decorated. The shoulders are fitted with red shoulder pieces, which create a color contrast to the otherwise blue uniform. On the chest, gold buttons run in a straight line, which underline the soldiers military rigor and discipline. Red decorative stripes run vertically along the front of the uniform and contribute to the decorative design. A wide black belt around the waist completes the look.The soldier wears black and sturdy boots that ensure a secure footing on the green base. In his right arm he holds a rifle that runs vertically along his body. The rifle is kept simple.
