This natural smoker, Miller, is lovingly and traditionally handcrafted by the Friedbert Uhlig woodturning workshop. Natural smokers and miniatures with unusual motifs are the hallmark of the Leubsdorf-based Uhlig company.To preserve the wood grain, the smokers are simply varnished and stained, making each figure unique in its own way, so you always receive a one-of-a-kind piece.The Miller smoker stands proudly and upright on a round, natural wooden base. His clothing exudes a warm, handcrafted simplicity, crafted from light wood tones. His upper body is covered by a long jacket fastened with large, round wooden buttons, while his legs are dressed in simple, brown trousers and sturdy wooden boots. A pointed cap, identifying him as a miller, sits atop his head.In his right hand, he holds a small, carefully carved wooden spoon, presumably used for scooping flour. His left hand balances a large sack of flour, inscribed with the words Flour, 50 kg. A tiny mouse sits on the flour sack, peering curiously forward, adding charming liveliness. At the same time, another mouse on the ground looks around with interest. It sniffs cautiously at a small wooden bowl filled with ground material.A fine-mesh wooden sieve, symbolizing the sifting process, lies next to the bowl. It complements the scene and reinforces the millers artisanal character. The base harmoniously accommodates all these details and underscores the authenticity of the craft.His face displays carefully painted features with expressive eyes and a mustache, while the characteristic smoking opening protrudes from his mouth.
